Hannah here: It's true that September may yet hold some warm sunshine for us, something I'm quite hopeful for, but that does not belie that fact that today, it's decidedly chilly here in Faversham; jumper and boots chilly in fact, and I have been busy preparing for Autumn. Frankie starts kindergarten next week so we have been accumulating all of the paraphernalia she needs for that, I've booked the chimney sweep and am ordering the logs today. Some friends took us to a beautiful local apple orchard recently called No Mans Orchard where we ate the most delicious, ripest apples, and filled bags to bring home. The orchard is accessed down a long wooded track and the orchard at the end is very old and very beautiful. The tree's are gnarled yet glisten with the ruby red orbs of perfectly ripe apples. It was so peaceful there.

And I have a whole board to celebrate Apple season too!
Lastly, the winner of the instagram giveaway with Great British Florist (British grown blooms- we really recommend them if you need to send flowers to anyone), chosen by writing the names of everyone down on little pieces of paper (need a more time efficient method next time!) and asking Frankie to choose one is @emilyandmore who tagged @heatheryounguk to receive some flowers! Hurray! Congratulations both of you! Let me know if you would like pre-arranged bouquets or mini buckets of blooms to arrange yourself and I'll get it sorted for you.
