I wanted to share some winter inspiration from the #embracingtheseasons feed. It is full of such delight! I am drawn to all the images taken outdoors because experiencing winter outside is one of my favourite things. I also love the moody cosy indoor shots, and yes, im vicariously living through any of these images that feature snow. None for us on the South East Coast!
• Handmade hygge • Have you heard of #hygge? It's the Scandinavian approach to winter. There is no moping about the weather or simply tolerating the shorter days whilst longing for Spring. Instead a sort of joy descends and being indoors whilst it's cold & dark is celebrated with good food and candles. Read about my version of hygge, which is synonymous with the #makingwinter #making_winter project, on my blog. The clicky link is in my profile. I love the #embracingtheseasons feed all year round but I particularly love it in winter as it's a really hard time for lots of people to embrace. So thank you to everyone who has so far taken part.
P.S I finally re-designed the blog, with the help of my mister! What do you think? Would love to know your thoughts.
P.P.S Feeling like I might be finally getting in the zone with work and blog stuff! fingers crossed....
