Father's Day DIY Round Up

Davina Here - In the UK Father's Day is coming up soon - its in just under two weeks - the 15th June! Since being a child I have always been encouraged to make my own Father's Day gifts and cards and Hannah and I both now love the idea of collaborating with our daughters to make gifts for their dads and of course grandfathers too.  Last year Elfie and I made cufflinks for Nick and the grandfathers. Elfie did some drawings and I scanned them, printed them onto shrink plastic and made them into the cufflinks. I was really pleased with them and feel the pressure to come up with another idea this year that Nick will equally like.

To get ideas Hannah and I have looked at some of our favourite blogs and sourced pinterest for inspiration. Here is my Father's Day Makes pinterest board and below is a list of our four favourite Father's Day DIY finds.

1. DIY Cufflinks using Kids' Drawings from The Making Home

2. DIY Chalkboard Cookie Jar from Mom Advice

3. Father's Day Banner made with Children's Drawings from Wren Handmade

4. Bacon Hearts (Both our fellas love bacon!) from The Paper Mama

Hannah and I are working today on a Father's Day DIY Shoot and really look forward to sharing our new ideas with you next Monday for Making Monday.
